Captured - The Day to Day
I am so glad you are here! I am a wedding, portrait and fashion photographer located in Texas but am available for travel worldwide.
Over the past few months, I have been delving deeper into myself, looking at my images and the motivation behind them. When I think about what I hope my images portray, three words came to mind - beauty, adventure, romance.
Life is full of beauty. From a bride on her wedding day to a newborn baby...there is beauty everywhere we look.
We all desire to take part in a great adventure in life. Each of us has a special journey to make as we travel from day to day.
From the first time we meet the one we love through a 50th anniversary and beyond, the romance that exists between a couple is as unique as a fingerprint.
Join me as I capture these emotions, these moments in the lives of others and myself. Enjoy!
Personal Project | Sarah
So, I have decided to start doing more personal projects. I have so many ideas that I haven't had time to bring to film (or digital fomat actually). I finally had the opportunity to create a few of my thoughts.
As many of you know, I absolutely love doing makeup. I am not professional at all, but I enjoy trying new things and reading about how to get certain looks. Well, I have been wanting to completely style an entire session...clothing, makeup, hair, etc. Sarah was kind enough to allow me to take COMPLETE control of every piece of her session. So, I did Sarah's makeup, picked out her outfits, and Jess helped me get exactly what I wanted with her hair. We went for two specific looks at the session. First, I had always wanted to do a shoot with a girl in a top hat and cane. I knew that I wanted to go all out...so we did. For the second part, I wanted a couture look in a field with bright, somewhat unrealistic colors. For a few I wanted a modern, fashion Alice in Wonderland with vivid colors and interesting juxtaposition. Here are a few from the day...
Here is my modern, fashion Alice:

I must say that I am in love with my Canon 5D Mark II! It is amazing!
Also, please check back soon as I am about to announce all of the details for my Let Go Workshop...it is going to be wonderful!
And to Sarah...thank you so much for trusting me! You were magnificent!
Something Different...
I recently had the pleasure of second shooting for Braeden of Ambient 11. I haven't been a second shooter in years! It was fun to take on a different role than usual. As a second shooter, you see things from a very different point of view. Here are a few from the day...

The Midkiffs
Doug and Stephanie were married recently at First Baptist Dallas. It was a truly fun and amazing day. Doug and Stephanie are a kind and energetic couple. And, I must say, their wedding party were awesome! Here are a few of her bridals and a few shots from their fabulous wedding.
I had the pleasure of photographing Stephanie at the phenomenal Adolphus Hotel.

This piano was supposed to be on the Titanic.
