Diana...and my new toy

I recently purchased a new lens...a 35mm f1.4.  So, I wanted to go out and see what it was made of.  And let me say...it is spectacular!  I didn't take it off of my camera once during the shoot.  Diana was my lovely, willing model.  She was phenomenal!  Here are a few of my faves...

Wow - these pics are awesome! I'm so happy to see them because I've been eying the 35/1.4 for a while now and it looks like a fab lens. Now I just need to go dig between my couch cushions to come up with the dough. ; )

wow, i love what the 35 offers! love the width and sense of openness...if that's even a word. :D i have the 50mm and a 15mm fisheye...i need something in between. i was contemplating between the 24 and the 35... do you have both? if so, which do you like better?

and your model did an amazing job! great locations and use of light.

:D

Erin - I don't have the 24. I contemplated buying it as well. I felt like on the 5d, the 35 would give me what I needed, and I have been very pleased.

Thanks Braeden!

Just had to comeback and say.

This shoot really is fantastic. Beyond the camera. Your vision is incredible. I love the use of the light on the walls and just your angles you went with.
