Captured - The Day to Day
I am so glad you are here! I am a wedding, portrait and fashion photographer located in Texas but am available for travel worldwide.
Over the past few months, I have been delving deeper into myself, looking at my images and the motivation behind them. When I think about what I hope my images portray, three words came to mind - beauty, adventure, romance.
Life is full of beauty. From a bride on her wedding day to a newborn baby...there is beauty everywhere we look.
We all desire to take part in a great adventure in life. Each of us has a special journey to make as we travel from day to day.
From the first time we meet the one we love through a 50th anniversary and beyond, the romance that exists between a couple is as unique as a fingerprint.
Join me as I capture these emotions, these moments in the lives of others and myself. Enjoy!

Ryan and Megan were married last year in a fantastic ceremony and reception at one of my absolute favorite venues, Edison's. It was a gorgeous, high-energy event with stunning details! I had a blast! Braeden & Megan | Married
I've been trying to complete this blog post for over a month now. I've edited, arranged and changed it a million times. How do I share the day of not only a wonderful photographer but also my friends?
I would be lying if I said I wasn't completely excited yet very nervous when Braeden and Megan asked me to be their wedding photographer. Braeden (of Ambient 11 Photography) and I met several years ago through an online photography forum. We have been shooting together ever since. We have spent hours talking, shooting and learning our trade together. With all of the wonderful images and photographers we have admired, how do I live up to his dream for his wedding? And Megan, she is absolutely one of the most genuine and kind people I have ever met. I wanted her photographs to be as she imagined as well. I began thinking about what I could do way before the big day. I began praying about it asking God for guidance and peace. At the time I was reading "One Thousand Gifts," and God gave me just what I needed. All beauty is simply a reflection of God. I began to pray, Lord let me see your beauty in the moments before me. Another thought from the book was to immerse yourself in moments. Time flies and the only way to slow time's current was to fully enter the moment to slow it with the weight of yourself. So, I began to practice doing so. The day of the wedding, I took these thoughts with me. It was amazing to watch God answer my prayers. I felt so connected with the moments occurring. I found so much joy and emotion. I have photographed weddings since 2003, and I felt a renewed emotional connection like I haven't felt in so long. Thank you Lord!
I would like to share with you Braeden and Megan's wedding. This post has both images and a video. If you want to just skim through some of the images, you will see those first. At the bottom of this post is a slideshow that contains many more images.
Braeden and Megan, I cannot tell you what a blessing it was to be a part of your wedding and your lives. I am thankful for our friendship and am so thrilled for you guys! Thank you for trusting me with this sacred time in your lives.
I would also like to thank the wonderful Taylor Lord for working with me that day. You are amazing! You can see some of Taylor's fabulous images in the slideshow below. I couldn't have done this without you!!!!
Ceremony - Prestonwoon Baptist Church
Reception - Edison's
To begin the day, Megan had a brunch for all of the ladies in her life.
During the morning, Megan received a special delivery from Braeden.

His note reads, "For 2 snickerdoodles you walked around OBU with me. For 100 will you walk down the aisle with me?"
Then, we were off to the salon...

Braeden had another surprise waiting for Megan when we arrived back at her house.

A custom designed necklace!

Then Braeden grabbed one of my cameras and started shooting the crowd!
